I am Chloe and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to Dorset Pathways. I have studied many subjects over the past 10 years ranging from Psychology to a level 4 Chartered Institute of Housing Qualification. I work with singles, couples and families who are in crisis. This can range from benefit issues to homelessness. I offer one to one intensive support to those in need and creates support plans to empower the clients to overcome some very complex issues, which can include addiction, repeat homelessness and financial concerns.

I also work with vulnerable adults and children within the community, and I am familiar with safeguarding and work closely with partner agencies such as the Police, Adult Social Care and Children’s Social Care.

I am very excited to use these transferable skills to be a part of the team at Dorset Pathways.

I am Lianne, I’m 45 and have had many opportunities to work with children and young people through my church organisation since I was 18. This is voluntary and I am currently in a position where I’m working directly with children and young people aged 11-18. I help them plan and carry out activities which they have chosen to help them achieve their life goals. This could be physical activities like basketball, dancing, self-defence, to emotional and mental wellness activities, which allows them to relax and improve their wellbeing.

In addition, I have a background in teaching and education within the health and social care sector. These transferable skills will help me support and guide Dorset Pathways to provide an outstanding service for the children and young people.

It’s a privilege to work alongside the youth of today and I am very excited to support Dorset Pathways in my role as part of the committee.

I am Becky, I have lived in Poole all my life and I am a primary school teacher at a local Infant school. At University I studied Sociology and then completed my PGCE in Primary Education. I currently teach in Year 2 and particularly enjoy delivering Maths. I am the Geography leader in my school and also plan the delivery of Maths for my year group. This involves creating long and medium-term plans for each year group.

Working in a school keeps me up to date with all the current safeguarding issues and training. This will allow me to support and advice Dorset Pathways with their planning as well as their safeguarding. I am very excited to be part of the committee and look forward to helping children and young people succeed in their chosen pathways.
