Young People Create Wellbeing Garden

The young people at Dorset Pathways have developed a Wellbeing garden at our site in Poole. They have sewn many seeds and made use of the space to grow a bumper selection of crops. Before the summer break we were able to harvest runner beans, radishes and a selection of fruit. The young people really enjoyed taking part in creating the space. Being able to be out in the open air and tending to the crops in a garden is fantastic for their mental health. Many of the young people have developed a keen interest in ga rdening as a result and are looking forward to harvesting more crops throughout the year.
